Trained in real galleries, not simulations
momentiko began as a small workshop for camera operators who wanted gallery experience. Today we run full diploma courses in multi-camera switching, live broadcasting and control room management for the next generation of UK production crews.
Our story
momentiko was founded by a group of working technical directors who kept meeting talented camera operators and runners with no route into the gallery. Formal broadcast courses were scarce, and most training happened informally, on the job, if you were lucky enough to get the opportunity.
We built momentiko around a simple idea: put people on a real switcher, in a real gallery, from day one. That approach has grown into a full training academy with dedicated studio space, a working control room and instructors who still direct live broadcasts alongside teaching.
